very powerful and disturbing fixed trace of sickening trauma, made all the more effective by stunning realism.

These made me think of teeth which made me think of that Sabretooth comic where his dad pulls his teeth out with pliers. I'm not sure if it blends but that was first impression.
Anyways, friggin awesome textures and great framing! it's awesome sauce

Stunning technical skill and sense of estheticism.
Stone depicting abuse is interesting and very effective, it takes much emotional / physical force to get those scars.
Good meathaphore for how abused can turn to stone, from ripped / smashed open to healing, then seemingly shut / nailed tight for protection. I wouldve liked to see a following of opening up and trust.
Theres also the aspect of abusive behaviour and being abused passed on in families in generations, wouldve loved to see signs of a stop to that.
Flattered you ask for my views on this, its a beautiful piece of artwork.
