Gaia City by PeteHamilton Gaia City by PeteHamilton
Gaia City..

A City of One.
A collective consciousness ..
A community of I ..
An idiot catalogue ..
Electric flypaper ..
An ever growing kaleidoscope of two way mirrors,
An obituary to who we’ve hidden to wither away in plain view, behind something better, that what is accepted, and expected ..

Where, 1; Popularity is its own reward.
2; Personal opinion carries its own risk to this ..;
3; The security of the collective mind means never ever being (in the) wrong..
4; Find satisfaction that all you know is all there is to know.
6; There will be no anger there, no complaining, no contamination to offend or alienate friends ..
7; Total self immersion will happily replace individuality within the electric white noise of the mee-hive...
8; The only thing we will not fake is an interest in others... 9; Other benefits may include acceptance, validation, approval, and proof of life.

Do not defriend me ..
For I bleed just as you do,
For here we will all menstruate and masturbate together, we will all breath in time, we will all share the same views, and reject the unfamiliar; the unproven.
We will speak to eachother in no more than 160 characters or less-I will lose interest.
We will like, and dislike (spitefully) together, we will be tolerant together, and perish those who think different.
For let no man, woman, or child be without the mark upon their foreheads, and let those that choose still to be without that mark wander alone in arid wasteland, for they will not be known..They will not exist, or have contact with those that do.
We will be one mind together, what one should be, rather than what one could be ..

..Is anybody there.?

Great stuff. It seems that we're always facing a new and changing Brave New World, even when we manage to avoid getting ourselves into the last Brave New World.

Also, I was watching Dr. Who and in one episode they go to a place where the people who live there are being controlled by aliens that give them the wrong news and their knowledge and technology is stunted by this.
Do you watch Dr. Who? You might find it interesting

No!
lol

Sounds nice. I do not really like the part where you reject the unfamiliar... I'd rather keep it in mind and question it to try and figure it out to see if it's worth rejecting.

A world or even just a place of sensual unity and understanding of humans would be wonderful... currently it is hard to find at least a handful of truly understanding people. Some of those who we think are understanding aren't... I hate masks... Why do people pretend, why do they hide what is inside....

Sometimes they hide behind masks what they fear may appear unfamiliar to others, and so be rejected. Only developing the mask, while the buried parts wait till usually around 35 to 40 years of age when the true self emerges, but if things have been buried they can emerge twisted and bent.I hope I wouldnt reject the unfamiliar. Its the mainstream I feel uneasy with..
