It looks very much like a scene I flew over, in one of the dreams I dreamt....the grayish colour in my dream where because of ash fallen down (like you see at volcano eruptions) But all was very still and serene. Just like in your painting. It is beautiful and disturbing at the same time....:iconsparklesplz:

Who knows? When I flew over the houses in my dream......I saw a small light in the distance on a rooftop of some house....a little hidden, crouching down in some corner...there I found an old colleague. This man has always taken me for what I am. Accepted me the way I acted...the rest of the dream, if any...I don't remember...
What I do know....that it looked very similar like you painted this scene....thanks.

the volcanic dust in the dream could be giving a reason or context for the town to be the desolate and lonely place it is, with so many deaf ears to be found and only alienation and disconnection, but now it is somehow peaceful and hopeful, and any light in the darkness, if it exists, can shine like a beacon. ?
