dream image from 4th. 5. 2012

Shortly after this image was taken, the inhabitants inside that were already stirred by the heavens, experienced a great agitation, as if an anthill were being drummed by an unseen hailstorm.

They found themselves confused and alone, and felt warm inside, and they all cast their own long shadows..

Some had displayed unusual behaviours, that others who believed they knew the individuals involved would describe as uncharacteristic, but the heavens released the truth of them..

Making some frenzied, they burrowed, and broke through the walls that held them inside, and the blackness of their will spilt forth as they began their vicious acts, isolated incidents at first, beating and tearing at others into pieces .
The heavens released the truth of them..

Others were stirred, as they were drawn out of themselves, the heavens making them feel anxious, confused, and alone, things they thought were theirs became lost as if cast into waters, but was the beginning of their liberation also. They staggered upward, unsure, as the needles now were confused also.. but they found their own way, for there was no one else to follow, and no other direction for them to go.

The heavens released the truth of them..

I was wondering...where were you placed (in your own dream) to get that view? or is it that you saw this closely, human scaled, and decided to portrait it from a farther point of view?

the dreams after a while become the images themselves with the feeling connected to them, so i just paint what i get.

I think I get it. Although, you kinda make a composition rather than being literal about the dream, wich would be a view in first person, the kind of view you'd get in this very moment from your surrounding, let's say 15" from the computer screen.

no, try and keep the composition just as i see it even if the composition could be better if altered slightly i try and keep it true to the dreamt image

Beautiful piece, I was having impressions of dreams even before I read your text. I like how it has a very tangible feel to it yet there is some unreal quality to it- I guess this is why it feels like a dream.
