There's a real feeling of being trapped here, as though there is a desperate attempt to escape the confines imposed and the paradox that a possible method of escape (the scissors) is there but unavailable ... A fantastic painting!

Cool image; you wonder whether it is meant that the face is outside of inside. I like the hard transition structure of the clothing that is evidently an ingredient that tends to confuse the viewer deliberately. It looks like cropped Aluminum foil. i like a lot of things here!
