Gallery Folders | CommentsI've just had a quick look through your gallery and found it awesome, your style is so consistent and yet every piece has it's own unique dynamic. Your work really engages the brain on a deep level, and I love that. You were brought to my attention by anima-arts who sent me links to your journal pieces, which are wonderful and have slotted things into place for me in ways that have eluded me all my life but now make so much sense. I don't have time right now to do your gallery justice but will come back for a closer look later on.
Thanks, and sorry youv had to wait so long to find the pieces described in them that make sense, I know what you mean..
Ah, no need to be sorry, Pete! It's never too late to make use of new information and I'm endlessly fascinated by the way the mind works. It interested me greatly that Anima mentioned Asperger's in the comments on the piece about LLI, as all three of my sons are diagnosed aspies and I have wondered if I have a touch of it myself. It's very interesting to see that mentioned in the realm of creative thinking as AS gets a bad press in terms of lack of imagination but all three of my boys are very creative in their own ways. I wouldn't say that my thinking was any quicker than anyone else, but I do tend to get overwhelmed by excessive sensory input and can be intense sometimes. I go along with convention but don't have much time for or interest in conformity, really. I thought I was just perverse, but now I know I'm a creative thinker that makes it so much easier to accept being a bit different. Thanks so much for the enlightenment!
